About Sue Kaiden, Career Consultant

Sue Kaiden

Founding CareerEdge in 2008, Sue dedicated herself to working in close partnership with clients to explore career directions and offer practical approaches for achieving their employment goals. Focusing first on “the person, not their resume,” she utilizes a variety of tools to help individuals identify both the job and work environment that best fits their values, interests, personality and skills.

Working previously as an executive and management consultant in healthcare, IT and non-profit sectors, Sue applied her expertise in Six Sigma and Lean management techniques to consistently improve organizational performance.   While facilitating process improvement teams, she learned that a vast amount of talent is unrecognized or underutilized in many organizations.  Many employees are in the wrong jobs; others aren’t encouraged to use their greatest skills or are simply unaware of them.

Sue holds an MBA from Cornell University, a BS in Business Administration from Miami University (Ohio), and is a certified Myers Briggs (MBTI) and Strong Interest Inventory practitioner and certified Six Sigma Black Belt.  In 2003, in response to a community need, she founded GetWorks, a job search support group for unemployed and underemployed people in Delaware County, PA. Through this program and her coaching practice, Sue has helped hundreds of people find meaningful work.
